The tree that inspired me

In the spring of 2020, I decided to apply my knowledge from an online course in permaculture by planting three mesquite trees in an empty space near my house. It was a rewarding experience to put into practice what I had learned about sustainable agriculture. I carefully selected the location for the trees, considering the inclination of the ground surface, to make sure they get as much as possible of rain water in the season. I also made sure to provide add mulch at the beginning, then watered once a week. Watching the trees grow and thrive brought me a sense of fulfillment and pride, knowing that I was making a positive impact on the environment.

I decided to make a bigger impact and took the first step by creating the Jojobe tote bag. I didn't want to rely on donations as it felt like a one-sided transaction. Instead, I wanted to create a more sustainable and mutually beneficial solution. So, I began selling the tote bags and using the earnings to plant trees. This way, not only am I able to support this project, but I am also contributing to the environment and making a positive impact.

Tree Planting Program

Our tree planting program is dedicated to enhancing the environment by planting a tree for every product sold on our platform.

We primarily focus on schools, as they possess the essential resources, particularly water, needed to nurture our plants throughout the year. This ensures a higher success rate for our efforts.

Importantly, the trees we plant will be enjoyed by everyone who visits these schools, including teachers, students, parents, and staff. This initiative not only beautifies the environment but also provides a valuable learning experience for children, allowing them to witness the positive impact of nature over time. Through this program, we aim to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the environment in young minds while contributing to a greener future for all.
